thank you so much everyone ! it means a lot to have this support from all of you ! i have a question - he told me his missed passing his run yesterday by 2 seconds so he had to retake it today & thats when he got sick & taken to the hospital.... but since he didn't pass his run what could happen ?

Nicole, thinking of you and your boyfriend/soon sailor. Will say an extra prayer for his speedy recovery. I can imagine his frustration and probably wants to jump out of bed and get back to his division. He's in good medical hands...everyone there also wants to help him get back on his feet and succeed! Hang in there. All us Navy Moms...or in my case...Grandma....are thinking of you both. Hugs.

Nicole, prayers for your soon to be sailor. I hope he doesn't get set bac,k but the important thing now is for him to get well. The good news is once they get them on antibiotics they usually start getting better pretty quickly. I will keep you both in my prayers.

Vanessa- the calls don't usually start until about 2 in the afternoon eastern time. So maybe you will be okay and he won't call before 3. My call didn't come until about 6 in the evening and I am on the East coast as well.

Vanessa...it is a anytime thing...it goes on for a lengthy period...after they are more or less done and hang out my daughter said.  The call could come at anytime.,remember there are 11 divisions and at least 88 recruits in each...so go figure why it is so hard to get a call from your recruit

So I know the answer to this is probably very unclear... but does anyone know about what time SR's usually call after BS? I start my first day of student teaching the day my SR will be calling. It seems like they normally call during the evening, but I'm sure it's one of those "could happen anytime" things. Have any of you read anything that gives any indication? It seems like most of the posts I read, the SR's call later in the evening and are always very tired and ready for bed. Just curious...
