Wendy - I'll keep checking back. I was on my iphone and couldn't open the photo link, so I have gotten on my father-in-law's computer to check and the link still isn't available. At least I know it isn't a problem with the iphone. I want to show these pics to all of the family we will see today, but we will not be at a computer most of the day, so my phone is it. Thanks again and let us know when the pics are approved. We are all so excited!!!

I was so glad to have my SR and his buddy with us yesterday!  I know those of you who were in line with me were very excited and anxious as well. I just loved the parents, wives and GF who were getting butterflies. I was a wonderful Christmas present.  My SR's buddy's family will not be coming for  PIR, so we are "adopting"him again for the PIR.

My SR asked immediately after we left the Visitor Center, "did you bring my dog? Where's my dog-ter? Is she in the car?" I told him we couldn't take her b/c we were in a hotel, we were spending the day with my cousin who has a dog of her own,  any thing I could think of.   We pulled into my cousin's house, she opened the garage door, I sort of blocked the view while my hubby got out and leashed up the pup, and we got the SR out of the car before he saw her.  THAT was the BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT... watching his face as he hugged his pup.( and was trying to figure out how to love her close without her stepping on those shiny shoes or get hair on his coat!)

They both sounded so great, and it was thrilling to hear their stories. We asked a lot of questions, but they were thrilled to be able to smile and talk.  It was pretty much non-stop. They drank more coffee that I thought humanly possible.

It was wonderful.  Will post some photos on my page later if anyone wants to see.!

Merry Boxing Day!

Debbie2 Ship07Div048 PIR 1/14 - where did you see the photo of your SR?  I am looking to find a photo of mine and ours are in the same Division.

God bless the volunteers who hosted our SR's.  Anyone have photos of the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church???  We are expecting a blizzard here in NY today, keep worrying about the weather traveling on 1/14.  Will hitch my dog to a sled if I have to.

Thank you so much Nates Mom....it is great knowing that someone was taking so good care of my boy during his first Christmas away from home.  I look forward to seeing the pictures!
