I know that we will take an extra cell phone for our " buddy~ or newly adopted sailor son", to be able to make phone calls home.  We are taking our laptops and extra web cameras so that he can skype home or what ever he would like.  We will be at my cousin's house, so there will be access that they may not get at the hotel.

And if I am not mistaken, several of the groups that took recruits and sailors for Thanksgiving made sure they had extra phone cards and cell phones for our military personnel to phone home.

Lots going on in here.  Praying for all those who need prayer, both the families and the recruits in the divisions that need a little extra help to come together...as well as those recruits who have special needs and are feeling the pain right now.

Y'all making plans for Christmas...be careful...i want everyone home safe and snug as a bug in a rug...no more people in the hospital...my little heart can't take it now.

So I have a little touch of pneumonia and have been hiding under the covers when suddenly I hear this story on the news...about the nice postman in Wisconson who was so worried about one of his customers who seemed to be depressed so he delivered her mail NAKED.....and suddenly I ripped my head out from under the covers, turned up the TV  and I thought...okay which Navy Mom is needing a letter...lol...awww come on you know you wondered too...lol!!

Holly ~ yay for your son. Sorry I wish it was us going for Christmas but just couldn't fit it in this time.

Looks like more snow and frigid temps in store for our boys/girls at boot camp.

Continued prayers for unity & strength for ALL DIV ~ HOOYAH!
