Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Phyllis,
It is very ez to get from the airport to GL. Gurnee if very close to GL, also very ez to get to. You can go on line to find out anything you need about downtown, but just ask me and I will give you #'s, directions or anything you need.

I think it will work out Kathy. You technally don't need the car in 2 names if they have any questions just show them the insurence papers and say "See Im covered!" LOL :D

I thought overnight liberty wasn't till Phase 3. Phase 2 they can be out until Midnight.

I can't wait until I'm in Florida. I told Steven last night about us wanting to stalk the base there in GL before PIR and I told him since the NL was on base there I could stalk him easier....lol He said if he see's me creeping through windows around his barracks...and stopped there lol...I said you tell everyone that it's not your gf and he said no I would lol
