FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

haha thats pretty funny! are you going to move down there? cuz i told Steven if everything works out and we are still together, when i finish school and if i can get a job down there i would find an apartment and move there so we can be somewhat closer and he can havea place to come "home" when he just limited days off and he doesnt want to be on the base.

He requested to be stationed in San Diego, so he can be close to home. He signed up for jusths 4 years right now, but he said that after that he might sign up for 20 more years.

Amanda- no we are not engaged and we dont have plans for marriage, we are taking it one stap at a time. we're both only 18 and have a great life ahead of us. but i think as long as im the supportative one our relationship will be great adn who knows what will happen, but neither of us are rushing into anything. we both want a career before marriage or children.

really it never snows here either. it snowed about 7 years ago and for the past 2 years its been getting cold enough for snow and now its supposed to get really cold sometime soon to snow. YAY im excited cuz i love the snow...haha
