FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Glad to hear from eveyone, it sounds like everyone is doing great. Stephen is doing fine, he has reach Phase3 so now he can go off base for the weekend, he is very happy about that.lol School is going great and he should be done in a month and a half. He put in his dream list last week, so I hope he gets what he wants, I want him to be happy. Let me hear from all of you, I miss you ladies from gl.

Hi Sue, how are you doing? That is one of the best thing is that you get to talk with them almost any time you want. That is nice that he has a visitor. How long has he been there? And is he in there for IT schooling?

Hi Cathy, your son left for bc 11-18, so did my, it was the hardest day in my life. He PIR on 1-15 and is now in P-Cola, FL and is loving it. He has started class for IT. You live in Illinois, I also live in IL I live in Alsip, southwest, I live around an hour from GL. Your son is still in GL? Hope to hear from you.

Hi Kathy, how are you? I miss you guys hope things are well, well at least you know you have a great kid. I heard you had some company for dinner last weekend, that sounds great. When will J start school? How's your weather? We had rain for two days and a little snow tonight, not bad, I can tell spring is coming. LOL Talk with you soon, thanks for visiting this site.

Hi Kathy, Amanda, Samantha (how was FL), I miss you guys!!!! Hope all is well with all of you and your sailors. Stephen is back from his weekend on the battleship and loved it, I guess he picked the right service. LOL Amanda you got to see your hubby, I am so glad for you, and Kathy that was really nice of you. I have a terrible cold but I just wanted to say hi!! Take Care!
