OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Amy,

I work in the office of a school so I am on my computer all day long, Yes, this is really hard, but I am glad I have you, this web site has been a God sent, it has really helped my through all of this, but we will be there before we know it. A few families have made it to GL, so I am glad they made it in one piece.

There is a great shopping center not to far from the base, you could spend the day there and every type of food you can think of Gunee Mills.
