Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey. I just wanted to talk to any one who has a Recruit whose job is a MA> Master at Arms. My husband is. He got his orders. He flies out Saturday- Hes a grad-n-go. I hope his flight don't leave til like 7 that night so I can spend all day with him. But he said he is going to graduate A school 1/11. So just wanting to see if your information matched any of this. Have you heard of when there holiday time off is going to be for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Hi TCarp...my son is going to San Antonio for MA. I haven't heard what time his flight is leaving on Sat. All he has wrote is that he will graduate around the same time as your husband.I'm hoping he will have more info when I hear from him this week - he has BS on the 28th so I'm expecting a call on Friday!!!
Hey IndianaMom. My husband has BS the same night. I agree I hope my husband has time to talk on Friday and can tell me more details about his flight. I hope his flight don't leave til that afternoon. He said once he gets there he is going to be on hold for 10 days.
HELLO...our sailor is attending *A* school in san antonio also...he flies out the following tues after pir on nov 5. I am just so excited he will be bk in texas where we are although it is still a good 8 hours from where we are ..lol..he said he will know more about holiday leave once he gets there they will inform them. so i guess it is just a waiting game again unfortunantly.

Hi Dustin's mom...your lucky your son will be "kinda" close - Unfortunately my son is Grad n Go so we will only have Friday with him. Are coming up for the Graduation?
