I checked with a group of which I'm a member for the Nuke A-school in SC. Here is a link (or at least I hope will be a link) where you can see the answers. It sounds like Nuke SRs will most likely fly out on Saturday.
Also, it would be nice to know who in this group has a Nuke SR, since they will be attending A-school together.
wvnavymom, My son is also a nuke, he is in div 012. I am looking forward to visiting him when he's in Charleston as I've never been to that part of the country before. Your link above does indeed work, thank you.
Have a great day,
Peggy, I made Gumbo last night! Eating it today after SEC games. We are Auburn fans! Thanks for the spanking last week, LOL!
Oh, ya! My SR hopes to get ET, too!
My chose EM and he got what he wanted! Yay! They are all good jobs for smart kids!
In the letter from my SR dated 11/7/11, he said that he (I'm guessing all NUKES) will be leaving for SC on the 3rd. and will be at the airport at 5 AM. Family can hang out with them at the USO. The first two weeks at GC will be spent in processing (NO CLASS) then they can take 10 days leave for Christmas! Yeah!!!
I got the same info from my SR. We're also flying out early on the 3rd, so it will be nice to hang with her at least for a little while. I can't wait until Christmas. HOOYAH!!
Oh, good! Glad to have the info confirmed! LOL I'm very excited about Christmas and I am hoping for a LONG chat at Thanksgiving!
Peggy, too funny! My in-laws live about 175 miles away in SC so hoping to get to Goose Creek sometime in the next 18 months, LOL. Division 13 has 35 Nukes unless some got setback so I think there are alot of them if you figure each division (minus the 800's) have 30+. Do you think they will put them all on the same flight or split the group up? I guess we won't really know anything until PIR! I am getting really excited and looking forward to Christmas!
I have one!!
Thanks for the site. My son is 02/903. He is a Nuke also.
