Good morning Navy family, we have all made it over the hump and are heading for PIR!!! Congrats to all the SR's for hanging in and working so hard to make their dreams of being a sailor happen. Being a new Navy mom, I'm not quite sure what a great graduation gift would be....any suggestions?

Yes he will be staying in GL. He is in ship 07div 012  right now. I really want to get him a lap top or I phone so I can have I chat with him. I was wondering what stuff he will want once he is in A-school? He did not pack anything when he was here. I read one mom and her son packed stuff he wanted once he got to A- School. I wrote my Son and asked, it will take a week before I know..
Does he grad 12/2? I have written and asked my son what he needs me to pack for him. I have already packed up some warm clothes and heavy jackets but that's about it.
Yes my son also grads on 12/2, I can't wait to see him. I am planning on going to the meet n greet at the Ramada. It's going to be a quick trip. I hope to spend as much time with my SR as I can I hope he gets some time away since he will be staying on in GL.
He will. They get liberty leave that weekend. Right after the ceremony he will have to check into school then he will be able to leave. I do believe they are not allowed stay the night anywhere. They will then have go check back into school on Sun. Are you on the Facebook page? Or you can friend me on Facebook at keykey89014@yahoo.com and we can exchange our SR names, I'm sure they know each other.
I'm glad to hear about the weekend. thanks.... I don't have a face book. One day I will do it, my friends and kids do.  I'm not sure if they know each other yet, not sure if my Sr's working with your group? Your SR's group is 09/016? I'm 07/012. Well they will probably meet up in A- School.
