Anyone has a son/daughter in this Division? My son will graduate 12/02/2011 (estimated, I guess - we haven't gotten the formal letter yet). I'm so excited for him! And proud beyond belief!!! If you reply, please let me know where you live (at least the state) - I live in Texas (deep East Texas, close to Louisiana border).
Everybody hang in there! I know there is still lots of time left before we see our kiddos -- but they are going to be in such good shape (both physically and mentally). Their self-esteem is going to be great! We need to be strong for them!

Just wanted to check in with everyone today to see how all are doing. Thought we needed to get the 903 back on top with some discussion so everyone remembers we're here. LOL Can't wait until Friday to see if our SRs are captured in some pictures from RTC. The last letter from my SR sounded good and she didn't mention being sick or anything, so that was good. Hoping the pink eye stays out of the 903's barracks. Hope everyone has a good evening and our SRs get a good nights rest tonight.

I can't wait either! I am really looking forward to any pictures of 02/903 even if my SR isn't in one. It will be great to see picture of the others that he spends his time with. Even if I don't post much on here, you all are on my mind alot :-).
I'm trying to keep up and see if anybody has heard anything from their SR's. The last contact we had was a letter on 10/30 -- he sounded good. Hoping he's not sick. I'm praying everyone up!!
where can you see pics of you son or daughter? noticed that one post said something about friday pics.
The Recruit Training Command facebook page will post an album of the 900 divisions after every PIR. They'll post something like 70 or so pics. It will be a great opportunity for us to possibly catch a glimps of our SRs.
Hey there! I received a call from Alex this morning - No Division 903 calls :( He picked his new job and he needed additional information for security, so he got to call. They told him he had 30 min to get everything, so we stalled :) Seriously there was one address that it took me almost 30 minutes to get a response back :)
He said he is doing really well - He did his PFA earlier in the week and passed, and today was the weapons test. He was pretty excited about that, as it was live weapons LOL He said they've earned the academic flag, the athletic flag and some flag with a star on it but he couldn't remember what it was for exactly, possibly Weapons Training?! (I think he's still sleep deprived). He said they got their mail taken away last weekend, somebody messed up, but that they did so good the last few days that they get it back! I asked him about their division flag and he said it has an octopus on it and NO, he wasn't going to draw it for me LOL He said they've had a lot of inspections and that they are passing them. Says its a cesspool of sickness but that other than the sniffles he's doing ok. Says he knows a lot of people have pink eye, but not his division. WHEW! Hope this is of interest to you moms...I tried to ask all the questions I could think of :)
Thank you so much for the information!! I hope your SR got a job he can be excited about.
Thanks for the update! Nice you got a call. So happy for you!! What a nice surprise!!
So . . . no letters this week for us or they didn't receive their mail from us? I hope it wasn't my SR making the mistakes. She's been trying hard to do everything right.
Glad to hear your SR is doing so well, Debi. Especially that they found him a new job. I know how upset you were with the first letter. Maybe they'll get a chance to call home this weekend if they all did well with weapons today.
So happy to hear you got to talk with him today. What a blessing!!
They weren't going to receive their mail for a whole week, but then they did really good the last two days so they will start getting again. But they still can only send mail on Sundays....so mail should be regular :)
And he didn't say who, or whether is was a "he" or a "she" - just said "someone screwed up and we weren't gonna get our mail for a week but we did really good the last two days so we're getting it again"
