We all will keep our fingers crossed that the RDC will reward them with a ten minute call home for doing good... That way you can talk to your SR and we get to talk to ours before the I am a Sailor call.

I'm so sorry to hear this.  Hopefully,  you feel better now.   I hope he gets to call again soon.  We will get through this, and he will too.  You will be so proud of him when you see him!

We are half way through Phase 1 of our Navy journey..
Yes! So glad. I hope they have it a little easier for the rest of boot camp!
Where do we order the division t-shirts? I can't find the website. Thanks!
Okay I found the site for the Custom Division Sportwear.  This may sound dumb but should we also order one for our guys too? Or is this just for family members? Is everybody ordering them?
I am going to order some and yes I am going to order one for my SR.. Just was wondering how long it takes to get them..
Okay good.  That's what my husband and I wanted to do.  Not sure how long it takes but I think I will get my order in soon just in case it takes awhile.
Good letter from my SR today. He said they completed Marlinspike and it was fun. He said all but 3 passed PFA. Also, they earned their athletic flag. This week they are supposed to have small weapons fire. He hoped to earn a marksmanship ribbon which knowing all the Call of Duty he has played i have confidence in him. Lol. He really seems to like it there. He said if he can maintain he will get to carry a flag. He also said they get to write on Sunday Tuesday and Thursday now so hopefully more letters. He hopes to get home for Xmas which his momma sure would love. Thanksgiving alone is going to be tough this year but knowing I will see him the following week makes it easier.

I got a letter from my SR yesterday too. It sounds like the whole division is doing good.. He said that he was up to date with all his stamps for Battlestations. So I think he can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. There were a lot of LOLs in the letter so things must be good.. My SR said something about their 4th RDC was moved to Push 800 division so that means they are on number 5. Your SR sounds alot like mine. He has every Call of Duty there is and has already requested the new one for Christmas.. Thanksgiving is going to be so hard this year. The start of many Thanksgivings without him I am sure..

I'm so happy for you Pentwater. it is great to hear the happiness in their letters. I think you are right they are going to get through this. Wow I had no idea they have had frequent changes in RDC'S. I can imagine that it would be hard to adjust to a new one so frequently but if they are getting writing privileges they must be adapting. I think most boys their age love that game lol. This year and I'm sure many holidays will be Blue Candle Events but i am comforted to know that he will be among friends and brothers. I will be thinking of you and your family as we celebrate without them.

Just wanted to thank you for sharing your information with us! It eases my mind to hear they are doing well as a division! I can relax a little now!!!! Yeah! Appreciate it! Hope I get a letter by the weekend!
