Has anyone gotten a phone can for 09 016? I got my only letter last Thursday but still no call.
OMG.....tears of pure happiness!!!! I just talked to my son, he is doing awesome. He loves it. He just had his wisdom teeth pulled 2 days ago so he is on light duty but doing great. He said he loves his ship and div and is having a great time. Passing all his tests and pushing forward. I am so filled with love and am so proud of my son and all the other SR's that have committed to such a great family.
I haven't heard from Christian, but I know he was one of the ones getting his teeth pulled. I hope he's ok and I hope I hear from him soon.
I'm so happy for all of you that have heard from your SRs. I'm very proud of every one of them AND OF YOU TOO! They go through hell and back, but so do we as parents. The emotional roller coaster.
Hugs to everyone. ~smile~
The area code is (847) it is from a pay phone.
I just talked to my son Luke. He sounded so calm. He just said "it's cold." I found out his friends names are Hudson, Elrod, green and Laberto from Waco. Not sure of the spelling.
Hey sounded great! Just so calm. It was so good to hear from him. The only thing is somehow he passed the color blind test and so know he qualifies for some scary stuff. Not what I wanted to hear. But he is excited. He said he is on the division staff so he is doing good. He also said he got hurt but it was a long story and he would tell me about it in a letter. His recruiter needs to get his paygrade papers straight, so I tried to call her, but she didn't answer. So glad to see everyone getting calls, I was thinking about all of you while I was talking to him. He said he will only get to call one more time before PIR.
