My daughter also. Just got her address today.

Hi Mommadash, It looks like me & you so far.  If you have any questions please feel free to ask, my son went through bc last year & it's still pretty fresh in my mind.  How are you holding up, did you receive your box yet? We got ours yesterday, but still no letter.  I do remember from last year that they would only mail letters out once a week & we would usually get ours on Wed. so hopefully today.
I got her box on Tuesday when the recruiter was here meeting with my youngest daughter. She enlisted the same day my oldest left. No form letter yet. How do you get through this? I am proud of her, but my o my do I miss her.
I got my box Tuesday as well.  I get through it day by day, I cry alot & my husband is wonderful about it all & I am driving my son crazy.  He graduated bc in Aug last year & is stationed on a sub.  I call him everyday to ask what might be happening.  This morning I got a call from Great Lakes & it was a corpsman asking what kind of reaction she had to penicillin, she has never been given penicillin because her brother is allergic to it & I told him that, He told me he was sitting right there beside her & I didn't get to talk to her.  Needless to say I cried all day today.  I called my son to ask him why they would call & did he think it was because she had a reaction.  He told me that today (P4) is the day that they get the "Peanut Butter" shot & they were just being cautious.
My Daughter is there also in the same ship and Div. Got her box yesterday, and waiting on the letter.
My daughter is there also...got her box today. =(  i got her address the day after she left. i didn't know about the letter that should be coming. i've sent many letters to her already. hope she gets them. i really don't know when she will graduate. i just saw the ship and division that match hers and jumped on board.... ???

Welcome Moms!!  It's nice to see other moms in our division.

@Jaksmom...the letter we are talking about is a form letter that they fill out when they arrive at RTC & are assigned a ship & division.  This letter will give their address, PIR date, information on how to get onto RTC & a short note from your recruit.  The letter usually comes shortly after the box.

I've gotten the box, but I am still waiting on the letter.  What ratings are your daughters in? Where will they go to A School?

My Daughter is going To San Antonio Tx after boot camp. She is going  to be Corpsman
Mine too... Yay!! Maybe they'll be friends.
My daughter is a GSE & will have A school in Great Lakes.
Got a call from Great Lakes this morning & my heart skipped, I just knew it was my daughter, but it was a corpsman telling me that he was sitting there with her & was wanting to know if she was allergic to pennicillin.  She has never been given anything pennicillin based because my son is allergic to it & their pediatrician thought it was better to be safe than sorry so he never gave it to her.  The guy didn't offer to let me talk to her & I was afraid to ask if I asked to speak to her it would get her in trouble.   UUUGGGHHH!!!!!!!    :(
Have any one in this division got the letter yet?
