Sarge is wonderful! Wish I could've met him!
Setting In Chicago at the Springhill Suites. My son just callled ---had no idea I would hear from him before Friday. I am a very happy mom!!! I have never flown in a plane before well, today I have been on two. Thanks so much to Sarge for picking us up from the airport personally, giving us a little tour of the city and where my child has been for the last 8 weeks, and getting us to the Hotel. He provided us with info on both food and activites that are located around our hotel. I called him a month ago and set things up for his help. He has been so helpfull. I am Looking forward to his Meet and Greet tomorrow night. He gave me a little info on the things that he will talk about tomorrow night and I can't wait to here what else he has to say. Plus, who can pass up food, music and well needed information. Hope to see you guys at the Meet and Greet. Looking forward to meeting my new Navy Family. See you tomorrow night at Sundance Saloon. OBTW, Sarge's # is 847-212-0246 if you have any questions I am sure he can answer them.

Thank you all...like dianne said we love doing this! I love watching you guys "grow"...it is a joy! Support is so important in anything we do and especially the key in military families.
That's me...infomercial with humor! But I don't wear wierd patterened sweaters! Actually, I would prefer "sarcasm and a gun"! Ha, Ha.
HI LYDIA! mwah back!
To the Vetern Moms: Thank you so much for all the support on here. You have helped keep some of us moms sane for the last few weeks,
whooooooooooooop!!!! I know some mommas and daddies who are heading out for a PIR!! Congrats yall! It will be one of the greatest days of your life I promise you that!
Hi diannep Hi Fireteamleader.... HUGS!!!!! mwah!
Ahhh....you guys are so nice. Thanks! We love doing this...Betsy and Sandy join us also many times (but both have been dealing with sick parents and not able to get on as much). This truly gives us joy to help you all. Remember, you all can join us after PIR to help anytime you want to! Sharing experiences really calms the new ladies on here!
Hoping the I'm a Sailor calls are on time today! Just a few more hours!
OMG if this day goes by any slower I am going to scream...
I second what Pentwater and Peggy said - THANK YOU so much to FTLW, diannep and LaLa - without you, our heads would be spinning! You are all wonderful!!!!
OMG - In two days I will be a veteran mom... I just hope and pray I can be half the veteran mom that diannep, LaLa and FTLW are.. The three of you always give the best support and information.. Would not have gotten through this without you...
