Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but discouraged as their RDC's read this site and can easily match them up with their "mom". Check junk/spam mail too as sometimes these messages are kicked into there. I was given a date for 903. Thinking it possibly is the one for the 800 groups as well.

One of my Sailors friend came up to me in the mail and ask me what I thought of (this is where I have to chance the story a bit because they call him by our last name) the picture of my Sailor. I said what picture, he said the picture of Sailor on facebook.. I was I haven't seen a picture of my Sailor ( I am not my Sailors friend on facebook) so his friend showed it to me. His friend and I are friends on facebook so I was able to get the picture from his page and text it out to the whole family. I hope you were able to follow that. Seeing that picture just made me day. My Sailor looks so good and has lost a lot of weight..
