Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

They are making sure that my son gets to the airport in plenty of time for his flight. His emergency leave was granted and he will be home this afternoon. The sad thing is that his grandfather passed away last night, and we had to tell him over the phone this morning, due to extended family members posting it on Facebook. Thank you everyone for your prayers for our family.

Things have been a bit wild since we got home from Chicago. Still trying to put the finishing touches in the house for the holidays. In-laws are coming this way. Never spent the holiday with them at our house before. Always headed their way. It'll be nice to just be able to stay at home. Wishing each and everyone of you and yours a blessed holiday. Take care.

Comment by Sara Ship 07 Div 012 on December 14, 2011 at 2:23pm: My son was scheduled to come home the 18th-1st. We are trying to get him home early though now, his grandfather is not expected to make it. They didn't think he would make it through the night, but he is still hanging in there. I think that he is waiting for his two grandsons in the military to get home to see him one more time. My son hasn't seen him since March. This was the hardest thing I have done, having to call him last night and telling him what was going on, knowing that there was no one there to comfort him. We hadn't told him how bad it had gotten, no sense in worrying them when they are far away and can't do anything about it.

My Sailor is in San Antonio and gets to come home from the 21-30th. This is the best gift ever! Have a wonderful blessed Christmas!
