Lala - so glad to hear the scouts are Ok and prayers going up for the injured rescue worker. I will check out your page for those covers!!! I have a ipad!
Thanks everyone, yes, the scouts were found, they had to use a helicopter to find them. They were all fine and didn't need any medical treatment. The rescue worker who wrecked his 4-wheeler has a broken back. No word yet on his condition so please continue to keep him and his family in your prayers. All the rescue workers are volunteers and do a great job helping out strangers.
I spent most of the day yesterday designing the Navy themed tote/purse and kindle/E-reader covers. They came out really cute. I know several have been asking about these for a couple of weeks and I am posting the pics to my facebook page now so if you want to see them you can look at them there.
I must dash away now lol to get some more ribbons finished and in the mail today.
This should be a good letter week for you guys YAY!!!
Woo ho!!! I just printed my gate pass for PIR!!!!
Thank heaven, the boy scouts are ok. Speaks volumes for the power of prayer. 15 whopping degrees outside...need to go get ready for work but I gotta be honest...not feeling it!
To all my sisters traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday, please be safe. Will ask the Lord to send guardian angels to watch over you. I'm a firm believer in guardian angels.
Can't wait to see you at PIR. Happy Holidays and love to you all.
10 more days to PIR!!! Woo hoo!!! I can't wait to go see my son and big him the biggest (((((hug)))) ever!!!!
My2Sailors: The SRs' last names on the letters you are sending out to those not receiving mail should be good enough, I think! Nice of you to do this!
You all...be sure if you are mailing letters to SRs not getting mail, that you have the name of the SR on there. They will not deliver letters with no SR's name on them. If you don't know names, then send the letters to YOUR SR and ask that he/she pass them out.
Good morning!
Gate passes should be up today for you all. HOOYAH! Be checking on the RTC website starting later this morning....click on the link up top. Remember, put in form letter password in ALL CAPS. You can print as many as you like (write in the info).
Good Morning!
Pentwater98 . . . how sweet of your son. :O)
Good Morning to my Navy Family.. Hope everyone is doing good. 10 more days unril we see our SRs.. My SR sent his girl cousin that he jokes around with a letter that had only four words on it.. I love it, that means to me he is doing good and there is still a part of his old self in there.. She is the one that before he left for boot camp sent her a text to please lookout for my mom while I am gone..
