Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but discouraged as their RDC's read this site and can easily match them up with their "mom". The good thing is that the temp is not too bad, 47 right now but we are expecting rain today so hopefully they will find them soon. They got separated from their group about 1:00 yesterday afternoon. Please keep our Rescue Squad and some missing Boy Scouts in your prayers. The boys have been missing in the mountains near the Parkway between Brevard and Asheville NC. One of the rescue workers has fallen and believed to have broken his back. My son is on the rescue squad and has been gone on this rescue mission since yesterday evening. He did send me a message to let me know he is okay because he knew I would hear on the news that someone was hurt. I am glad he did let me know because I would be freaking out. Thanks so much for your prayers.

I got a letter from my SR today & she sent a list of names (last names only) of recruits that are not receiving mail in Ship 09/Div. 015. She said that one recruit in particular is in need of support. Message me if you would like the list. I can't imagine letting these kids go any longer without knowing that we are proud of them!!

Please private message them to me. You can also post on here that you have the date and others in that division can private message you for it. As Betsy said, no dates can be posted on the public boards.
