Just a moment of silence…
We were notified of a loss of one of our sailors. The family has already been notified.

We would like to offer our prayers, along with those of a grateful nation, for the great sacrifice this sailor from our PIR group made in service to his country.

The Bible says "Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted." I believe that God will shed his blessings on them at this time. These are times when our Faith is tested the most, and yet it is Faith that will see us all through the sorrow and agony of this tragedy.

I know that faith will keep this family strong. Please know that the prayers of so many people are with them.   I hope the family finds some solace in knowing that their loss is shared so deeply.

I pray that God gives them the grace to carry on. The family can be proud of their sailor and the ultimate service to this country.

In Deep Faith…

Not that I ever look at that SLOW countdown clock.... but it just slid under 2 Days!!!

Someone on here posted SR last names PLEASE remove immediately for their safety. Please do not post personal info that lead to you or your SR. On the chapel, they ask that anyone not on the list to go to PIR to stay hotel. This could cause unneeded issues during this busy time. Chapel is used for Anyone with special needs and need to close to family,, not extras. SR's may have been told that but there specific reasons it is used. FYI,, taking the shuttle is much easier and much closer walk than the parking lot walk in the freezing weather.

Maybe today will be the day for our calls.    If patiences is a virtue then I must be one heckuva virtuous person (not by choice)  …..  breathe in  breathe out.

Have a great day, folks.

Yvonnne:  Thanks so much for updating on the Chapel Livestream.  We had not heard that they had to be 18 or older.  I'm glad that you called and found out that the extras are allowed there....as long as they are 18 or older or with someone 18 or older!
