Megan, the facebook groups are for Graduation/PIR groups, we recommend getting to know everyone for your graduation not just those in the same division. They will be going to A-school and be in the fleet with people who had PIR with them, not just those from the same division :)

Shirlock, PIR is often a week sooner that calculated, that happened to my daughter as well and I was so glad lol. You can check with her recruiter and have them ook it up on the computer. They should be able to tell you the PIR date and DIV #. I don't expect them to have PIR on 12/19 or 12/26, not sure about the first week of Jan yet but hopefully your recruit will be fast tracked and have PIR on the 12th :)

This website says there will be no PIR on 12/19 or 12/26 so maybe she is fast tracked

shirlock, They have had graduations right around the holidays, but I don't think anything about stand down has be published yet (I will look again). The best thing to do is wait for the form letter.

It shows 26 dec if you count processing but I was also told she would be fast tracked just on the edge I want to be there for her I was gone a lot when I was in during my deployments I want to make sure I'm there for her

mitchelsmom, my son is also Ship 04, Div 38. Also told the first "real" call will be three weeks out. Did get the box and form letter, but that is all.

Shirlock, If you recieved the form letter it will tell you on there but usually it's 9 Fridays after they leave. They only time I've heard of it being longer is when they have the Christmas holiday during boot and it gives them an extra week.
