Mail this on an index card to your recruit if they are flying out to another base on PIR weekend. Once they get their itinerary they should fill it out and then give it to you at PIR. They won't have this info in time to mail it; they receive the details in their hard copy of orders and itinerary the week of graduation. They go back to their ship and rack to check out and that is when they should grab it so remind them. This will keep you from ending up at the wrong airport or airline gate.
Please fill this out when you get your final orders and then give it to us at PIR. Do not mail it.

CoffeeMom, we always suggest that extra day just in case they don't fly out until Sunday. Not only can weather cancel flights but sometimes there aren't enough flights on Saturday so you could get that extra day with them. You would go pick them up early in the morning and take them back that evening unless they had watch at some point during the day. I also suggest Flying in on Wednesday if at all possible this time of year. Some in the past have had late flights on Thursday that got canceled and then they didn't make it in time for PIR on Friday morning. It is very sad when that happens.
Good morning everyone, I am one of the veteran moms who stuck around after my Sailor had PIR more than 4 years ago to help you all get through the boot camp experience. I am also the mom who makes the ribbons for PIR that you see in my profile picture. If you have any questions or concerns please let me or one of the others like me know. You can always post questions to this wall and one of us will see it and answer as soon as possible. You can also send me a friend request if you like. Many of you may already know me because I am also an admin for the original facebook PIR groups. If you are in that group please be sure and come to this page daily if possible. There are members here who just don't do facebook and there are members on facebook that don't use this site. So, to be able to connect with as many people as possible try and be active in both :) Also, don't limit yourself to meeting just those from the same division. Once boot camp is over your sailors will be heading to A-school with others from all the different divisions and you may know some of their moms/families as well. I know right now it seems like graduation/PIR will never get here but even though the days drag by the weeks do seem to pass quickly and before long you will be packing and ready to go to see your new sailor. We all know and understand how you are feeling because we have been through it with our own sailors. No one understands like another name mom :) Welcome aboard. We are so happy you found us
diannep, It looks like the divisions for this group are 027-038 and 904. It has not been confirmed by the RTC, but I did post to be aware it will probably be 3 guests for this TG looks to have 13 divisions graduating.
I haven't seen anyone with a loved one in Ship 04 Div 038. Hoping for a call today, but was told the first call would be 3 weeks out. Anyone else get that message?
Thank you to everyone reducing my stress! I think Im going to send it! I don't want her to think Im not thinking about her! I Have only found 1 only person with a SR in the same division and ship. Im going to write another letter day and send out a Bday card to another recruits son! ;-)
For the moms that have not got rooms the ramada has a Graduation rate $68. If you go to web site www.ramadawg.com there is a link to get those rates. Also free breakfast and free shuttle to PIR. have meet and greet also..
Good Morning and welcome to the new members of this group!
Dalygirl: The reason they tell you not to write with recruiter's address is only because sometimes the recruiter's address is a little off from the actual address, but normally it is the same. Once you get the form letter, that is the correct address. If the recruiter's address was a bit incorrect, and you wrote before the form letter was received, your SR will eventually receive the letter....just may take a while. But the mail is held from them for the first 2 weeks anyway until the Recruit Mail Petty Officer is trained.
