BattleStations will be held for each division during the last week of boot camp.  As it gets closer, we will try to get a schedule together of when each division goes.  This info will come strictly from your recruits.  They won't know this early, but they should start getting dates by early December.

Brother divisions always go together.  Brother divisions in your PIR group are as follows:

Div 19 + 20

Div 21 + 22

Div 23 + 24

900 divisions (since you have 2 of them...unusual)

The 800 and 900 divisions normally don't have brother divisions.  They can possibly go together, or each might tag on to some brother divisions.  In your case, since you have two 900 divisions, they most likely will go together because I believe they are considered brother divisions.

This is an overnight drill and when it concludes, your recruits are sailors!  There is a capping ceremony where they trade their recruit ball cap for their sailor cap.

Here is a great link that explains what they do during BattleStations:

A heads up: in div 902 PIR11/24, no one made the I am a sailor call because they went directly from BS to practice for PIR. The loved ones were frantic until they realized that. I guess the 900 divs usually go to BS last and according to some people in GL (hotel workers), often the 900 divs go directly to practice from BS, so no news is good news. I also would think that RS who didn't pass BS would be able to make a call to tell people not to come to PIR.
This is good to know. Thanks Jewel
Well, it would be nice if the 900 divisions always DID go on the same day, but they don't. I have seen them on schedules from Sunday-Wed nights. But I'm glad you posted this so that anyone group going 2 nights before PIR can be warned (the ladies on here) that they may not get a call. And, I think you are correct, Jewel. If they failed and will not be at PIR, they have to call.
My son, who PIR'd on 11/12 was in 952. His BS ended up being on a Tuesdsay night. I also remember from that week that the families of those who had BS on Wednesday night did their traveling with the high hopes that their recruit was going to pass BS, and fortunately all did. My son did say that after they completed BS, they had to clean the ship and then practice before the cold make any calls which is why it was later for them.
Need dates for 19, 20, 23, and 24, and more confirmation on the ones posted abovel.
Waiting for more BattleStations dates. Please ask!
I'm still waiting to hear; my SR is in 024.
We have now heard from two different recruits in Ship 04, Div. 020 that there BS start Monday night, so you should expect your call on Tuesday. Their buddy division should by Div. 019
I am confirming that Battlestations for Division 019 will begin Monday Dec 13th!!!!
