Hi Penny! Welcome to the group! I am also looking forward to PIR. I'm so glad they can come home for Christmas! Was your son sick or injured? Susan
Neither Susan - he messed up and was set back for messing up. Anyway he is doing okay with it and is okay
CJ's Mom, Well I'm glad it has worked out for him. My son said it is a pretty good division. With what your son said with their score of 4.3 it sounds like they are doing pretty good! Susan
Oh wow I finally found Ship 3 Div 22...Hi ladies my daughter is in this division as well. She will go to A school in Meridian Mississippi. She called today first phone call I have recieved and it was 20 minutes and I think I will sleep better tonight! Look forward to talking with you all.
Hi Bris Mom! I also received my first call today from my son. The line had a lot of static to it was hard to hear him sometimes, but was wonderful none the less! My son will do A school in Pensacola. What is your daughter's rate? My son is IT. Susan
Yes we experienced the static too...She is a LS and will be going to A school in Meridian, Mississippi... I think her A school is pretty short ...I wish it was Pensacola that is only 2 hours away :). Good luck to you. Is he coming home for holidays? My daughter thinks she may rather come home after A school so there is not such a gap between visits. Whichever she chooses it will be nice to have her home for a visit.
I have found I have always slept better after talking to CJ. He and I spent a lot of time together so now that he is gone it seems like my best part of me is gone. It will be hard to see him come home for th holidays as he will want to spend time with friends and girlfriend. Hopefully I will see him. :)
Received another phone call today...she sounds even better...still waiting to book room until she passes run next week...getting anxious.
I also got another phone call too today! ^_^ Hurray for all of them doing so well!!!!!
So excited! Just talked to my daughter! There was definitely alot of static during our call. She is so upbeat and actually says she is enjoying BC for the most part. We weren't sure how well she would do with BC, but she is making me proud. Got to tell her we are flying up for Thanksgiving. Can't wait to see her. She says they only get about 5 minutes to make their bed, complained that if she had more time she could make it perfectly. Excuse me is this MY daughter complaining about wishing she had more time to make her bed perfect! I can't remember the last time she made her bed period... And then if she complained it was because she had to do it at all....after all it's only going to be slept in again tonight she would say! I am definitely liking the changes that r a happening! Needs to improve her running time, though. She isn't too far off from where it needs to be! Counting the days :)
That's great everyone! I also received a call last night. D used a newer phone so there wasn't any static. Thank goodness! I barely heard him on Saturday! He said that all but 1 has passed the academic test. If that person passes today then they will receive their Academic Flag. He said he likes the flags because they look better marching. He is doing very well. He said he has scored nearly perfect on all of his inspections. He took a hit when a tiny part of his boot wasn't shined. He is nervous about the run. Said it would be sad to receive 5.0's on everything and not pass the run! I hope they can call us next Monday to let us know how it went! Have a great day ladies. Susan
My daughter needs to bring her running down 45 seconds as well...I am anxious about it but I guess I should have more faith that she will do it. I am so happy we all have received phone calls this week, hopefully the weeks just get better and better.
