Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

my husband's a G&G and his school's in Great Lakes (cant wait to go there and see him in January - hope all this snow's gone by then - hoping for a January thaw).  poor ship02 div909's made a pact for no cookies but i made christmas cookies today with our 18month old son.  took pics tho and about to send them to the hubby tomorrow in the mail!  glad all your sons/daughters are doing well in bootcamp.  dunno what my husband's doing for graduation tho.  he hasnt said - he told me he didnt know yet as of last friday.  he DID tell me they won a flag already :D

His recruiter actually suggested it but to said we would find more out later as graduation came closer!  We had absolutely the best recruiters ever.  They were and still very helpful to me even now that he is gone.  I sure hope we get overnights!!

Already planning on laptop, cell phone etc!!!  I am so excited.  I just hope we get to have the weekend together or at least some time!  I dont really want to change my flight until I know for sure what is going to happen.  THank you Jessica for all the infor!

So he can take personal things to A school?  He packed a bag of normal clothes he wants me to bringing but i wasnt sure if he would ba able to take them or if i would have to ship them to A school.

Cat...his momma and I were so happy! I called her right after him and I hung up, and we were just so happy...we both agreed that we had a lot to say but barely said a thing because we were in the clouds lol! Next time I am going to breath in and out lol!
