You lost me Ellen, what is the final grad CS class and what is FT. Remember only your recruit will have info for you. Calm, breath, OOOMMMMMM!!! that's my impression of meditation.

EEK! I just saw on Naval Station Great Lakes f/b page pics of the FINAL graduating CS class...they are moving CS A School to FT. Lee, VA! I don't know if my SR knows about this yet!! That just totally ruined "Grad & Go" for me:(

Guess what? Mt sons father called. He recieved two letters. One for him and one for his grandmother. He gets his mail at 2:30. Mine comes at 4:30. Oh I think it is safe to say that I will have a surprise in my mailbox when I get home!!!!!

Hi Denise...oh she was my favorite go to person in chat...when I needed a quick answer in my PIR group....now I call her just my friend...with one of the best senses of humor I know...lol...don't get her started however...lol

Removing wisdom teeth is a common occurrence and believe it or not the recruits almost enjoy it...they call it ricky vacation because they get to sleep for 2 to 3 days, the first and only uninterrupted sleep of boot camp...lol  Because it is such a common occurrence and isn't considered an "extreme" event it doesn't mean a call home.

Welcome vibrant...please be careful ladies and delete your posts where you use your recruits names...RDCs can and do read these sites and we certainly don't want to bring undo attention to them.

Now Cat...Iknow you are nervous...but really I googled your address (Santa gave it to me) and took a picture...ladies this is what not to do to get mail....lol

Hi GIna I bet they did cause Travis did not have a problem with his and they took his out. But he seemed to be fine and recovered so thats a good thing. And to the rest I know what you mean about the mailman I have been stalking her for a while now at least she is cool and understands. I never thought I would be like this but when it comes to my kids I just seem to go nuts.

Comment by Gina - Ship 07, Div. 050 on December 10, 2010 at 2:21pm

I am waiting to hear if my SR got his wisdom teeth out, too.  He was having trouble with them before he left, they were impacted.  His recruiter told him to say nothing about it at MEPS and that they would take care of it at GL.  Thank God for health care, dental care and life insurance they get!

Comment by Cat(Mom of an AO) on December 10, 2010 at 1:56pm

Ya Ellen, I figured that. I don't want to be accountable for nothin... LOL just kidding!! Poor mailman, it's probably my son being lazy about it!!

Hi ladies this is my first day in this group but I hope to get to know all of you as time goes on. My name is Dawn and my son Travis is Ship 02 Div 909. To Zacks mom OMG did you get a call with they took out his wisdom teeth? And how is he doing? I wonder if Travis was with him cause they took his out last Thursday and he said he had bed rest for 3 days. Oh well I will ask him when he calls tonight.  Yea baby I so happy today I love it:)
