YAY I finally got a letter from my son!!!!! It made me soo happy, it seemed like I could hear his voice while reading it! He is doing really good and was excited to get their camies and dog tags. He said that there were 21 out of 72 that passed the physical fitness test and he was one of them. He also said that he kicked butt on the swimming test. He told me that the drill instructor said he had potential to be a section leader. He sounded so excited and said that he is starting to like it now. He misses home and all and especially his girlfriend but he is making new buddies and they talk to help them through it. I know one of his buddies names and was hoping to find his mom on here but not sure if I can say his name. Am I allowed to? does anyone know?

WOW, what a great group to belong to. You have all been so thoughtful. I was a bit down not receiving a letter last night but have to say it felt so good to hear about your letters. Thanks so much for all your kind words and I am sure a letter will arrive at ant moment.

Oh, Cat! I'm so sorry you didn't get your letter. But, I live in WI. It doesn't have to go as far, so maybe mine got here a day sooner because of that. You WILL get your letter very soon. I know you will! I know you will!

Cat...this message is just for you...lol...mail goes out on Mondays...sometimes it doesn't get out until Tuesdays...so Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays are the big days for getting mail...so don't get discouraged. We had a mailman in our group (God bless his soul...lol) and he said mail goes 500 miles per day...and it worked out like that almost every time.
