Hi Cat- Wow !! I was reading and sounds like we need to really not be specific when we talk about our SR's if we don't want to draw attention to them. Maybe thats why its a lil quiet here today.. moms r scared to say anything, as probably our sons are, too... do you know of a way we can privately talk to each other?

I copied this from another group, we must remember what today is:

Pearl Harbor Day. I just wanted to take a moment today to remember all who gave their lives 69 years ago today. And to those who survived and fought another day along with all the families affected. As Navy moms/families, we can only begin to imagine the pain that must have been felt that day by the families. For a day that "will live in infamy", may we never forget. .

Nope Nascarnov, I don't the boys have but I do believe that the girls from 051 sent home letters.

Oh yes, I did get the box and form letter a week after he left. It has just been 21 and counting and would really love to get a letter from him

Kathy-I received the box and form letter. No actual letter from my SR or a phone call. I don't think anyone in DIV 51 has received an actual letter. Correct me if I'm wrong!
