You know, this group has come a long way. I was reading on the Bootcamp Group, and there are people that haven't received their box. Others haven't received their form letter. Some just said goodbye to their SR. Look at us! We've past all that and are talking about what we miss about them being gone! It's a positive progression, don't you think? Thanks to all of you for making this journey a lot easier for me. I'm glad we have each other.

HaHa!! i was just reading everything we miss (and may have taken for granted) our SR's doing around the house. All the little things! what i have found is I still cook like he is here...there seems to always be leftovers now. and yes, since his leaving, I have had to take my place in the chore rotation with my two boys at home! GRRRR

Eileen - took out other SRs with him...LOL. Oh the poor dear, I hope he has recovered from his injury.
Small prayer - "Dear Lord, please keep our SRs safe, sane and upright on the ice in Great Lakes."

Oh don't forget cleaning the kitty pan....Ewww! I forgot how gross that is to do. I really miss my SR now!

Shoveling, Oh Pooh! Another thing we will miss him for, in addition to taking out the garbage, emptying the dishwasher and bringing in fire wood!!! Never really appreciated just how much he did around here until he was gone! LOL

Welcome new members! Dana - my son is heading to Goose Creek for Nukes too!

Wow! I don't come on the site for 2 days, and have 8 pages of comments to catch up on! We are a chatty bunch!

Welcome to the new moms! I wonder why your kids were pushed up a week. Good for them, and for you. You have one less week to miss them!

I didn't get a letter either. I'm glad to hear that more and more moms are receiving theirs. Makes me think mine is coming soon! Positive thoughts. No news is good news, right?

I loved the sailor snowman pictures! The salute was the best! We got about 9 inches of snow, too, so I can relate to the pictures! I wonder if our kids had to help shovel the base! I couldn't get our son to shovel our driveway last year!

Hi Christine, I don't have any information as of yet, but I will definitely share anything I learn.
