no letters here either.. :( What are we going to do w/ this mail system? I think all the mailpersons are reading our discussions and holding on to our letters.. It's a plot to drive us crazy... Lol Just kidding, i'm sure our sailors are just busy learning all they can... Congrad Lorenza... maybe ours is getting close

I'm so happy today, because we have some news from my beloved son.

No letter for me today either =o( I'm really sad. Thought for sure it would have been today. The mailman has to bring something soon.......

ohhh.. getting letters w/ a PIR after us... that is not cool....:) That mailman is sooo pushing his luck. Cat- my daughter is doing good.. better but they had a girl in her class get in a car accident and broke her back. A great athlete and now will never walk again... So between missing her BF and the stress of this at school, this week is a bigger struggle.. A letter would be GREAT for her.. and us of coarse.. just want to know they are doing ok! fingers crossed for us or the mailman may not be happy! lol

Same here. And opt for comfy shoes. I think we have a wait in line and a nice walk to the actual PIR spot.

same here-casual nice & warm, for sure!!!
Comment by Gina - Ship 07, Div. 050 on December 3, 2010 at 2:16pm
Ok...because of TSA and baggage restrictions I plan on "casual nice." Slacks and a sweater, maybe. Something I can fold up in a carry-on.
Comment by Ellen B on December 3, 2010 at 2:13pm
Looking at some of the past PIR's pics, it doesn't look like people in the audience are dressed a certain way...
Comment by Gina - Ship 07, Div. 050 on December 3, 2010 at 2:09pm
Does anybody know whether there is a dress code for the civilians at PIR? I'm currently trying to get money and such together to make this adventure. Not sure if I should buy something new to wear or not? As it is I'll have to show up with my big fake fur coat (only worn in Las Vegas) because it's the only coat I have that will handle Chicago in January.
