Thanks, EileenS and your son for the info.
I think I have every one of those Military Cards from Hallmark! I started getting them while my son was a DEPper. They are wonderful, encouraging, some funny, some blank for plenty of writing room inside. I highly recommend them. Just finished my 2 letters for the day/tomorrows mail. Asked my son about those who do not seem to get much or any mail. EileenS suggestions have inspired me:)

No letters today either =(
I was told (by our Recruiter) that we probably wouldn't see them till at least Friday or Saturday as it takes 5 days for them to process mail. So if our SR's got to write on Sunday like they say they get to in BC then we should be seeing them by this weekend. I am waiting patiently, miss him so much. This waiting is killing me.

I read in the Boot Camp group that to do it we need to send the group of letters to our SR. The envelope has to have a specific address. I figured my recruit would be noticing that some don't get mail. He could make the decision as to who needs it most. Maybe other groups (church groups, daycares, etc.) would be interested in doing it.

I hope JessicaB-Sailor Mom will clarify addressing the envelope. Thanks!

This might be a good question for JessicaB-Sailor Mom...I would send some cards to those who don't get mail. Wow, how sad this...

Hey Ladies, I was in the chat room earlier and someone offered up a website that gives free military falgs to hang in our windows. I just ordered mine and it said 4-6 weeks delivery. Very very close to PIR. Thought it would be nice to have hangin in my window. The website is myblueflag.com
