Jordan left on Nov. 23rd, waiting for her things to arrive as well as find out her PIR date! Anxious, to say the least! Anyone else in the same "boat"? No pun intended!! LOL!

Jessica, My son is going Nuke and already went through some clearance where neighbors, teachers and I think friends were interviewed in person. However, no one (other then the recruiters) ever spoke with us. He was surprised he never heard anything about his clearance status, but I guess maybe it's because the process has not completed?

Never driven or even seen snow.....what is best for transportation for the weekend? Is there public transportation or do i dare rent a car and hope it doesn't ice or snow? We don't have much in the way of public transportation here in FL so this is all new.

Thanks for the warm welcome all. Laura the link for the last few weeks was very informative. Finding out that his PIR is in January brings it to light that it won't be too long before I see my son again.
