I just finished watching a 1942 film called The Harvey Girls with Judy Garland...... it really was extremely entertaining and controversial for the days. If you want to relax for a little over an hour and belly laugh get the DVD. Netflix or ... ? Now off to my family home for Thanksgiving...thank you MOMs.

Hi SusanG, my son is also Ship 02 DIV 909. Happy Thanksgiving. I just wrote another letter to him. I have been numbering them so he can open and read chronologically....maybe that's not important but it's orderly ;) Where will you stay for PIR.

Hi and Happy Thanksgiving everyone ;) My son is on Ship 02 Div 909. It has made us smile to see the menu for today, we took bets on what our son would eat.

They are eating better than me today! Glad to see it...glad they are well cared for and tucked in. Cat kibble gets a little boring :)

What teamwork! The clock looks fantastic! Great job Kathy! It was very sweet of navyfam to stop by and assist & Jessica, as always!!

Its nice to see that everytime I sign on there are more people in our group. Hi Cheryl & hubby, Hi Janey/Johns.

Kathy, so glad you finally got the box. I too did not get back my sons glasses and contact lenses (with case). Surprised that they let him keep them. I'm thinking they needed them for processing before they recieve the BCG's.

Laura, I have cried while paying on line at the grocery store. People in my neighborhood who does not know my son left must think I have gone crazy. Cry all you want sister. Just look up at the clock and know we wil be seeing them soon.

Good Morning to everyone else. I know I missed a bunch of you still trying to get everyone names down. I have not booked my trip yet. Still waiting for the form letter to confirm. As long as it goes the way I plan I am looking at staying at the Ramada to meet all my new friends. Coming from NY I'm not sure what is the best airport to fly into. Any suggestions?
