For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Good morning all! Just keep wondering what our "precious" SR's are up to right now and what kind of day will unfold for them. Got our sign ordered yesterday. There is a certain website that has them for free + shipping for military. We did this for our older son and can't wait to hang this one up too. I hope everyone has a "Spooktacular" day! Haha. Yes, I went there ! Hang in there everyone.

I agree ;) I just watched the short training video on the Navy website and it gave me goose bumps! So if the training is in Pensacola will he have liberty after BC or will he be a Grad&Go?

From what I found on the internet MM A-school is in great Lakes so I would plan to be there the whole weekend. Definitely ask him where A-school will be just to be sure. Here is the link to what I found.

AIRR- Air Rescue Swimmers A school is in Pensacola. That is what my son plans on doing as well. He is still a senior in high school and has been on the Rescue Squad for more than 2 years. He is a First Responder now, no longer a junior member since he turned 18. He is doing a training mission on Wednesday and will be pulled up by a cable into a Black Hawk helicopter. I can tell you he is one very excited kid. I don't know if I could watch it or not. Probably a good thing I am subbing in 1st grade that day lol.

My son arrived at Great Lakes on 10/25. Waiting patiently for the form letter. Miss him so much. "A" school in San Antonio - any others going there for HM Corpseman?

Well I have joined this group because I think my daughters PIR is 12/16 if it is not I will join the later date PIR, but she arrived in great lakes on 10/26, so let pray it is her PIR date. I am just waiting on conformation now so we can book our flight the closer it gets the more the tickets will cost ugh
