My son PIR'd last year on Dec. 16 and I'm just as excited this year for all of you as I was for him last year. I still remember the feeling of anticipation that you have right now and it's so wonderful!
13 DAYS! 2 weeks from today!!!!! Didn't get a letter this week...yet :-(. My son told his girlfriend that he is getting alot of support from his Chief,LPO's and the Division on his run. He has a buddy that is also helping to push him when they run. They are giving him the "Can Do" support! Thank you Lord for a good Division and RDC's and continue to watch over all the SR's during these last weeks. I love all the emoticons I am seeing :-)! Where and how do you get them? Not sure if I can do them on my IPHON its suppose to be a smart phone but only as "smart" as the user :-)! OK, yes I am blonde, besides the point... LRQ ~ Hope you are staying warm. FTLW ~ hope you are feeling better. Everyone have a blessed day.
Betsy that sounds like it is here as well. The sun warms things up in the afternoon but very cold in the early morning hours. I am ready for spring lol.
Wow, Lala, you are even colder than we are in MD now. I hope today is warmer for you. You can thank FTLW for the Happy Birthday emoticon. I found that on in the links that she posted. I hope your daughter had a great day.
diannep, I hope your friend made it ok.
I can now understand being a wimp about cold. This will be my true winter experience in 6 years, as the winters in NM were extremely mild.
We are having such strange weather right now, that I don't know whether to put on the heat or air conditioning. During the day, it's been between 55-60 degrees, but at night it gets down in the 20's.
Well we didn't get the snow this time. It all stayed in the northern part of the our area closer to the TN border. I am not sure if they got snow at Blowing Rock but I can tell you even without the snow he will not like the cold lol.
Oh boy, Lala. Is there snow on the ground still? I have a friend who just bought a home in Blowing Rock and headed up there yesterday (flew) to start working on it. Has a handyman that we all use driving a van up with furniture/supplies to help her...he got lost on the way up from Miami....had to spend the night somewhere on the road...sure hope he was able to get up there ok. He told me before he left that he hates cold weather...we S. Floridians are such wimps! :-)
Hope that it is a quick and cheap fix on the heater fan!
It has been really cold here in Western NC as well. And as if that wern't bad enough the heater fan on my car quit working. It is not easy to get a car defrosted at 25 degrees and then keep it from fogging up while you drive. You have to ride with the windows down and FREEZE. It is not fun. I hope it doesn't cost too much to get it fixed!!!
LoveMySailor08....Isn't it great!!!! I can hardly wait!!!! I got a letter today but I would love a phone call!!!
OOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGG
14 MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
