Anyone doing any cyber shopping today?  I am!

I hope everyone had a nice holiday.  I was at a B&B for the holiday weekend with my husband and they had no internet, so that explains my absence this weekend.  I can't believe that my husband and I actually spent an entire weekend together without tv and internet and survived.  

My sailor son was able to have his holiday dinner with his godmother, since she had traveled to FL to see her family.  I missed him so much, but I'm so glad that if he couldn't be with us, he was able to spend time with his aunt and her family.    

My daughter and her sailor fiance in HI hosted 4 other sailors from his ship, for dinner.  She said it was so nice to cook for them and they appreciated being there so much.  I'm so happy that she and her bf opened up their home to them.   

I am glad to be back.

Celia: Ship is out of Norfolk, but currently in dry dock at Newport News so that is where he is.  Sure would be nice to have both of your kids in the same place!

All the ribbons for this PIR group are being mailed to morrow. So if you ordered ribbons to wear to support your Sailor be looking for them in the mail by the end of this week. Does this group have a private facebook page? if so I can take a pic of some of the ribbons and post on that page. I can only post first names on this page here on N4M's.

Dianne - Is he in Norfolk? My daughter lives in Virginia Beach.  I hope my son is stationed there eventually.  I can get there for weekends and see both at the same time.  And, they would have each other nearby.

Ladies, we need more BattleStations dates for this PIR group, so please be asking your SRs if you speak to them or in a letter.  Then private message me the date.  I only have 019/020 so far.  Will keep a schedule and message it out to all.  Thanks!

Debbie:  BattleStations is their final test, and then they are sailors.  There is a discussion about it above in the discussions.  I will bump it up.  Be sure to click on the link within that discussion for lots of great info!  At the bottom of the link page, you will see another link by "Craig" that has great info too.
