hang in there ladies, I am sure you and your recruits will be getting lots of mail very soon. Can you imagine the amount of letters that arrive there everyday? Without boot camps the postal service would probably have to cut back to 3 day weeks lol.
Allison - My SR arrived 10/24 also - I have one personal letter that came last Saturday - I got a call on Tuesday night from him, he said he wrote 4 or 5 letters but I don't have them. I bet I have sent him 10 or more and he has 2. That made me very sad!!!
Lala I so agree, its so sad to see the disregard for some of our vets!!
I know how hard it is to go so long without letters and phone calls. But hang in there, I am sure she is thinking of you as much as you are thinking of her. Girls are usually especially good about writing home and I bet you have letters on the way right now as we speak. Wednesdays and Thursdays are the days when most people get letters depending on how far they are from great Lakes. I am in NC and Thursday was our day for letters. Keep writing her every day and encouraging her. She can do this and so can you :-) I will keep my fingers crossed not only for a nice long letter but an awesome phone call as well.
We still haven't received our first personal letter. Our daughter arrived at BC on the 25th of October. I'm trying not to stress....any words of encouragement from the veteran moms would be great :) I'm sure there is a good reason....Anyone else who's SR is graduating on the 16th not received a personal letter?
I hope the last 30 days go quickly for all of you. With all the preparations for your trip and the holidays, I bet they do. :)
Hi, FTLW :) Where are you getting your emoticons?
Can you believe we are down to 30 days until graduation? So exciting!
probably because they don't want the students using the phones as well
momof5 the schools here are like that too. No cell service without going outside in almost all the schools in the county. I agree, stupid!!
Celia, I have my phone on me at all times, even in appointments and meetings when they ask you not too and tell em look, I got to sons in bootcamp who could possibly call me at any time and I wont miss that phone call... I hate when I am in a building and can't get service, that happens at my daughters school all the time. I think it has something to do with them not wanting teachers to use cell phones, stupid!
Dawn in MI
Hoping DIV 19 gets there calls :) and others too....
