How much is package A? Is there a site where we can see the different packages available? That way I can tell him which one to get. Never going to stop being a mom! :-)

Celia:  Here is the info for the division tshirts.  Some order early and receive them before PIR.

http://www.mwrgl.com/gen_info/rtc_graduation/div_tshirt_order_6_201...

Phone numbers are on that form.

JazzyMom:  Yes, I agree with Lala.  If they love the first part of bootcamp, I think there may be a problem!  HA!  It is not supposed to be fun.  They are in the breaking down part in the first part of bootcamp, never easy.  By training week #4, there is a turnaround and the buildup process starts...and they become much more positive.

On the photos, if they get Pkg A, THE KEEL (yearbook) is thrown in for free.  SR has to order this pkg though, to get the free yearbook.  If you do, the yearbook is not free.

Good Morning, everyone!

When can we order division t-shirts and sweatshirts? It might be fun to have them for the Meet & Greet.

Comment by Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons on November 15, 2011 at 7:28am

They do not have to pay when ordered, they can pay later or you can even pay for them while you are there. You could always put money in his account and send him a letter telling him to use that debit card. A lot of the recruits pay for the pictures themselves with money earned at boot camp. The biggest package "A" is $140.00 but there are add on stuff that they often get like DIV pics on different uniforms.

Jazzymom- if he is determined and dedicated to making it through that is way more than half the battle. I am sure he will do well and be glad of his decision by the time boot camp is finished :-)

Thank you for the encouraging words ladies. I'm so blessed to have found this website! I keep writing and encouraging him. I told him boot camp is the hardest part where all the big changes happen...I know he'll be fine and make it, even
though he's not happy right now he's still completely determined and dedicated.

Does anyone know if our SR's have to pay for the pictures when they are taken? If so, I want to put money in his checking account to make sure he has enough for them.  And, how much are the photos?

Comment by CeliaSews on November 14, 2011 at 11:53pm

I'm sure it's going to get better for him...I understand the first 3 weeks are the hardest on them.  Now, they start getting into more interesting stuff, weapons training and all that.  Just keep encouraging him.

Comment by Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons on November 14, 2011 at 10:54pm

Jazzymom, I am sure you are right. It should get better soon and he will not hate it as bad. By the end he may even like it a little bit. I hope things turn around for him very soon. It is very hard on a mom or really any family member to hear that they hate it. Just keep writing and sending encouragement. He can do this :-)

Just a heads up on the ribbons orders that have already come in for this group. I started working on your ribbons today. Thanks so much for the orders. You are going to love these ribbons and I know you will all wear them with so much pride to PIR. If you haven;t mailed or made your payment yet get that to me as soon as you can so I can ship your ribbons. Thanks again!!!

How long did he get to talk? How exciting! Wish it was a happier call, but at least you got to hear his voice!!!
