If Sarge's M & G says"Full" if you want to RSVP...ignore it and RSVP anyways, OR try going to "Events" and clicking on the M&G date (the day before your PIR) and opening up the event that way. Don't know why it is doing that...sorry!

Lol, I guess I am used to it. My days are always filled to the rim :-) cards should be just fine and shouldn't draw any attention as long as the envelope isn't covered in hearts lol

Mail normally comes on Wed. or Thursday. Depending on if you get your mail in the morning or Afternoon. I hope this helps.

Well you all are quite amazing women in my eyes.  I cannot tell you how much it has meant to find this "place" and all of you.  And Lala I got tired just reading about your day! :)   I didn't get a letter today, you would have heard me whooping it up if I had, but maybe tomorrow.  I have been trying to mail one a day, but I tell you I run out of things to say, so I checked out some of the jokes and also hunted up some good Motivating quotes to help fill in the spaces.  I was going to get a few cards but I don't want to draw any unwanted attention to my SR.  Even before he went to BC he didn't like any pda's or attention drawn to himself, so I sure don't want to cause him troubles.  Gotta get back to my soup making, have a good evening everyone!

Betsy, she is doing much better.  Been home now for 2.5 weeks.  Off all meds, thank goodness. She actually walked at the park today (albeit with a walker) and did good.  Sounds like herself again and she is back to her "fighting' self.  Trying to do too much, and doesn't want help!  That is the Mom that I know.  Thanks for asking.  And thanks so much for the prayers!

And your mom?  How is she doing?

It was kinda funny ...cause I said Good Morning and my name and them just asked directly which was correct...that's it. He started to tell me and then asked about the recruit. You had to have been there...Musta been the direct question...ha, ha military mentality and all. Then...I shut up and waited...one if the times when I automatically remembered, "don't offer information". LOL

Oh yes it can be quite a challenge.  Thank goodness, my mother has been feeling a lot better the last week, so I can take a breathe for a little bit.  :)    

diannep, how is your mom?  Is she all settled back at home now?  I've been keeping her in my prayers.
