I am betting there will be some happy moms/families this week with letters. Those who live close to great lakes may get them today. Most will get them on Wednesday and Thursday depending on where you live. In Western NC we got our letters on Thursdays. Try not to worry if that first letter says they are down, homesick, hate it, want to come home etc. That happens a lot the first couple of weeks and it is normal. They will seem a little better with each letter and by the end many of them say they loved boot camp lol. So try not to worry too much. You will notice a change in them with each letter :-) The first 2-3 weeks are the hardest and it does get better.
Did we ever figure out why DIV 905 has PIR before DIV 904? I looked back through the posts but I couldn't find anything and then I saw that 904 has PIR Dec 29th.

Please read all the details on the event page.
Ramada Meet and Greet
Hi everyone!
I'd like to invite someone from this group add the RAMADA Meet N Greet to Events.
All you have to do is click on the “Events” tab up at the top.
Then everyone from this group may go there to RSVP for this M & G. ANYONE may attend...the Ramada does this for every PIR group as a courtesy, it is free. Those staying at the Ramada will get a voucher for two free drinks and they have a cash bar. They do not mind if you bring in a water or soft drink with you. The RSVP just helps them get a head count so they know how much food to prepare. But I am sure they make a bit extra!

Great NavyChief! Here is my standard post on that...ignore the stuf you already know!
How to add a Discussion - Go to the bottom left corner of the DF area (It's actually just above the comment box here.) and click "Add a Discussion".
Fill in the Title and any description you like.
For DIV discussion Titles a suggestion would be:
SHIP ##/ DIV ###
Simple as that! Then the other members from your div can reply and you can connect up even closer there.
Remember that you are ALL part of this TG though and to stay on the main pages to talk here too! Plus, we veteran moms mostly stay on the main pages of the groups. There are 7-8 PIR groups running at one time and so we do not get to the DF's as much. We do check them as often as we can...OPSEC rules apply there also.
