I'll start with mine - He just finished up Power School (his 2nd school for nukes) in Goose Creek, SC, and will be heading to Ballston Spa, NY for Prototype School.  He will be home on 12/22/13 for Christmas with us and heads back out on 1/10/14.  We are looking forward to seeing him!

It has been an exciting year to say the least ;-)  Hope everyone else is doing well.

So proud of all the young men & women in this group....My Grandson is still at Sonar School in Point Loma, CA...and now starting the final chaper "C" school for another 6 - 9 months...very lucky that he is stationed so close by that we can see him ocasionally.

Happy New Year and looking forward to an exciting and learning year ahead...

My sailor is stationed in Japan. Will be there a year in February.

He was able to get leave to come home for Christmas for ten full days. He looses a couple of days with travel to that part of the world. It was great having him home and I know he was happy to be home. I think he is having a little trouble getting back to his routine since being home. He really wishes he was stateside. Another year in Japan but he is betting they extend him an extra year. It is what it is and no use complaining about it. Hopefully his ship will visit some great ports this year.

Happy New Year!
