Good morning everyone, we are using our day, writing letters to my son. My girls and grandchildren are out of school today,so they are in full swing this morning writing to their brother and uncle so the letters can be picked up tomorrow by the mailman.

I did some research a few days ago on the Brides Across America. If you go to their web site you can see the dates of where they will be locateed in each State. They will be in VA tonight. You have to either be in the military or marrying someone in the military; you can even already be married if you were married quickly like by a JP and have not had a formal wedding. There is a catch, either you or your spouse/spouse to be must have served in the middle east, like in Afghanistan. Just read the tab that tells how to qualify. When we heard about this I was going to drive to VA today and go with my daughter to try and get one of these dresses. She is a sailor, married to a sailor, and just married in September by a JP. Sadly she does not qualify. I hope this helps.

Does anyone know how long the liberty is for PIR12/22/2010 if they are going to A school in Pensicola FL. I have my reservations made but if I need to change them I still have a little time. I have not recieved mail from my son yet other that the box and form letter. Going crazy as I am sure alot of us are. Any info is welcome. Maybe there is not any info yet. Who knows.

If you’ve not received any mail on Thursday November 11 2010 you may be wondering if Veterans day is a USPS Holiday? Perhaps you went to the post office and found it closed. This is because Veterans day in the USA is a USPS holiday endorsed by the Federal Government. So on Veterans day there will no mail delivery and the US Post office will be closed on November 11, 2010 which is a postal holiday.

-gah! its official girls. :( no mail tomorrow!

NDG we had an awesome Meet and Greet at Anastasias...167 people shut the place down...but you have to have a really good grasp of numbers...I posted them every day in the chat and just kept updating them the last two weeks and people have to really commit to coming....because they thought I was wrong about my numbers and i was....i had 35 MORE than I thought...they challenged me and said I would have less than 50....man the look on their faces was priceless....they also do cakes...it was a great night...they just put the closed sign up....and the whole place was packed to the gills with our group...so fun!!

NDG: Several groups have had their own MeetNGreet at Anastasias. Some do it after the Ramada, some during. I will say that the ones who went to the Ramada had good reports about the MeetNGreet and enjoyed meeting the families that were not a part of N4M's and telling them about the site. You can still go as a PIR group to Anastasias afterward for dinner!
