tal,
You go into settings on your page, then you will on the left side E-mail. You can change them there.

In addition to Dianne's suggestion, I would like to add that you might want to go back over all your groups and find your posts. I deleted all of the comments that I made with my son's name on them. (You cannot edit them, at this point) I also made sure that his name doesn't appear on my profile page. The safety and secruity of our sailors is important.

My son just called home. He got choked up several times, as did I . It was so good to hear his voice. He said it is pretty easy and he didn't sleep the first two days that was rough. He said they are learning to step together on IT not quite sure what that is. He said he wants to come home for Christmas before A School. I was glad to hear that he gets to leave after PIR. It will be easier now that I have heard from him I hope.

Good morning, Ladies. Just a suggestion: I would be careful about disclosing first names on this site. For two reasons:

First, for those with high security rates, it is not a good thing to do, and
also, this is a public site and can be viewed by many...including those working with your recruits! No need to draw personal attention to your recruit by what is being posted here. I realize some of you have your recruit's name in your screen name...of course, it is up to you, but you may want to change that. I still refer to my son as just that....my son....when posting on N4M's and he is stationed now. Just a security thing I have even though he is not in the highest security rate. If you notice, Jessica also doesn't disclose her sailor's name in her posts, nor has she ever.

Think about it. I have read on here where recruits have called or written home and told their moms to get off the site because they got some "feedback" from something she had posted on here and it was easy to see who her recruit was by the "powers that be" in bc. We don't want to make it tougher on the recruits than it already is....we are here to support!

Got a call from my sailor this morning to tell me he would be graduation early...12/22 I said ok hon with a little chuckle...I said well I already know that...and your letters I wrote you will explain more about why I do (I didnt wnat to take the time then to tell them I had hooked up here with you all) but I thought that was funny..but he did not have much time to talk just wanted to tell us if some of the family didnt want to come that was cool because he has to pay for the tickets! lol and he has 10 days leave so he will see them the next day anyways. I said ok but me and your dad still want to come...althought that is alot of extra money for us and we could spend it while he was here also..idk I am torn...I asked him what he thought about that and he said ...mom all I want is to be out of here I really dont care that much..I know that will probably change though..and I did ask him well how are you doing with your PT and stuff is it hard? he said not really mom its pretty easy...just keeping all the little stuff organized and the detail of it all is the hardest part so far...lol I kinda knew that would be for him..but it did put a smile on my face even now..my boys is becoming a man and to tell you the truth I am glad the Navy is getting the chance to help him along. I am so proud right now! and excited he will be home for christmas.
