Lynne, thanks so much for the update. I had to show my husband your message. Although our son is not in div 026, it gave us hope and let us know that he is ok. Kim

Hey all quick note when I took my son back to base guess what i saw division 26 marching...my new sailor son was like, " good lord you are snoopy mom". I explained that I just wanted to be able to report in. They looked good and were marching in step. They had one flag. My son said that is because they are so new. So hang in there all!! They were wearing their digitals and gloves and big boots. Boy they looked good and were doing double time when I saw them.

Random thought.. Just image there are 11 divisions we know of so far graduating... image how busy that airport is going to be if every recruit in the division has 4 people plus kids coming.

Question: I've been looking around (even asked the recruiter) & haven't found a definite answer on this, so I thought I'd ask here.
My husband's A school is in great lakes for a year in length. We'll be renting an apartment together. Is it immediately that he'll be able to live off base with me or does it take time (ie: 3weeks)? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, ladies.
