Finished the Battle Stations chapter of Honor Courage Commitment and I was in tears! I so wish I could see them when they are marching to their final destination...knowing that they have made it!!!!! When I read about the Smurfs and other Divsions cheering them on I almost wanted to cheer to...again we are talking about a crazy Navy mom here...so no judging! hahaha! They say that the Battle Stations night is the real graduation for the recruits...PIR is really just a formality for the families...and now I understand why. I highly recommend this book to any of you who want to know all of the details of what our recruits are going through!

Yay! I finally got my call today...Div 029 didn't get to go anywhere yesterday...they ate in the galley and their special privilege was to listen to the radio. N said they didn't even know that other divisions got to leave. He said some that Live Fire, the gas chamber, and Marlinespike are all coming up.
It was soooooo good to hear from him!

Wao!! I'm so happy, I receive 3 questionarie and 2 hand write letters, yey. He is doing very good. He mention what I already know they need to buy the tickets (to come home and back) before the graduation. Again he repeat that he is taking just 7 days. Things are getting more peacefully. He is making friend. He MISS MOM FOOD!!! He find out that after graduation he goes back to his rack, get his stuff and he don't need to come back. Yupi!!! He can stay that night we us in the hotel and next day we all coming back in the same fly. I'm so excited! .

Priscilla, I understand that you can get a video of the PIR ceremony, so you and your husband will have to be sure to get one. He is wise in having you stay home...

Thanks again to all of you ladies for your wonderful support. This is truly a new adventure and having connections with you all has really helped clarify many moments of uncertainty ~ thank you and Happy Thanksgiving!!!
