i would just like to ask a question real quick, hoping somebody might know.
what if our recruits decide to get married during their 10 day leave/after PIR.
is that gonna be possible and does he have to ask someone for permission for that? any answers would be appreciated, thanks in advance :)

Maggie: we have to email or fax a copy of their intinerary if coming home during leave time. So, this means if you're flying your sailor out, you have to email/FAX proof, pretty much, of where they'll be lol.
Sorry about all the jumbled words. Also, the same applies to their trip to A school. Message me if you have anymore questions.

I just finish talking to my son, I was so sad today and now!!!! Yes, it's true what Priscilla said. My son didn't receive the letter that I send letting him know that I bought his ticket and when I told him, he told me that I need to send the itinerary to...and he give me the e-mail address. So far everything good, he pass everything that they already give him. He and most of the division is a little sick but not to the point of backing their training. Let's pray for all of them that everything go perfect and we can see them Dec. 22.

Got a phone call today. It was soooooo good to talk to him. I was on edge prior since I had not received a letter either. But the phone set me as ease. He definitely has a better demeanor. He has the 5 days leave but is thinking of just heading for school after grad. instead. I can already see the change in him. We are so proud. Can't wait to see him.

Well it sounds like maybe it was envelopes that were a little bulky...maybe got caught in the sorting machine. He did get my phone cards intact.
Did you see the pictures from today's PIR! I had chills looking at them! :)
