Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 041 and 042.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Funny, my mother's madein name was Shumacher...We might be family....

LOL really? what part of the Country all of my Dads family is from the Mid West Minnesota area ? I actually have done an extensive family tree dating back to the 1500s. LOL

There is PIR 12-28-12 go to your search and type just that in on Facebook.search and you will get to it.

yes it is one! its called PIR 12-28-12 TG 7 - 8 Divisions (039-044, 906 and 907) its very informative and there are many families on there

Good morning folks my SR is in DIV 042 still no letters. Are yall going to sarges meet and greet the night before graduation?

No letter here either.  :^(  We probably won't make the meet and greets...looks like our arrival will be too late.

I should be able to make the Meet and and greet. I get in at noon on Thursday the 27th of Dec and fly out Saturday the 29th at 8 pm . Good thing I got straight thru flights.

Great Irishgryeyes I look forward to meeting you, I think I am going early to adopt him in Christmas it will be wonderful to be able to spend part of 2 days with him. so I look forward to meeting everyone.  Do you know where you will be staying while there?
