CJ's mom...I'm sure he's fine, just going through the normal feelings! This is tough on these guys/gals too...mine said the worst part is not being able to just talk to the family! I'll be praying for him and for you too! Try not to worry to much, write him and encourage him and if he calls again, try to encourage him even more and be very upbeat and tell him you know he can do it!! Maybe after talking with the Chaplain, he'll feel better...could just be a bad week for him....just try to keep your head up!! It'll all be ok, no matter what happens, you'll both get through it!

I talked with my son today - he was down really down. He is going to talk with the chaplin on Sunday. So now I am more worried. Then after I got home from work I checked my mail and there was two letters. One was - Dear Parents - I want to come home - Love your son Collin Now what do I do??

Yay Emily!!!! When you getting married? I've never asked you that...glad you were able to talk with him....I'm still stewing over work and missing my babies call!

I have gotten two letters from my daughter so far - but am dyeing to hear her voice with that first phone call!!

sherrinukemom - That is my worst fear ~ Now you have his voice on your VM so you can play it when every you want! Hope you get to speak with him soon. [Hugs}

Thought this day couldn't get any better but it did. Husband got a call from Danny just before he left work-didn't reconize the area code - almost didn't answer so keep that in mind. He is going to be carrying their division flag at PIR. So proud I could bust the bra!!

thanks!! I did get a letter today too...short. but I think he wrote g-parents and great g-parents as well....said he's G&G...leaves Sat for Charleston...but said we could go and sit with him at airport...he's already talked with his A school advisor or counselor and they told him to make sure we knew we could go and see him at airport...he does get to come home for Christmas from 22 till Jan 4, so that is nice!!!!

LovingmyCurtis, I am so great you got to talk to him . I did not get to talk to courtland someone from there called and left a voice mail on my phone, the one time i leave me phone on the table..
To all that that has got a letter are a phone call that is super .

Hey everyone....well guess what....got a letter and a call, but I missed the call...if I can vent for a minute heres what happened....
I was going to leave work at 230--I'd had my cell with me on my desk all day, which is unusual for me--but I had to go pick up the stores' alterations and when I got back to store i left phone in the car--but htought I'm only here another hour so it'll be ok....at 220 my boss comes in ( I do HR for a department store), and said that our "new regional" was almost there and that I needed to take the manager phone...so there goes leaving at 230--otherwise I would have been gone to get his phone call....anyway, the phone stays quiet till 255, then this crazy old woman calls--really, wont go into that, but keeps me on the phone till 322..during this time the other line keeps ringing, and then my desk phone rings, then the other line on the manager phone, then my desk phone...for like 15 mins or maybe a couple mins longer...I can't answer my desk phone cause I'm on the manager phone with the crazy woman....can't answer the call waiting cause well, still on the phone....anyway, I finished that call, handed the phone over and was heading out the door when I get a page--the ASM said my hubby was on the phone and needed to talk with me ASAP...so they transferrd me the call...he said...don't know if I should tel you this, but Michael has been trying to reach you--my heart sunk....I said WHAT?? Michael called my hubby after not being able to reach me....he tried my cell 3 times from 3-317, and the store phone and my desk phone...I HATE MY WORK RIGHT NOW!!!! Anyway, my hubby said he's doing well...he's grad and go...so I'm guessing all in DIV 10 will be, isnt' that how it works?? But he's fine, made some good friends, said things are well...my hubby said he had the sniffles....well, I run to my car get my phone and he did leave me a message.....he said "hey momma, I just wanted to tell you.....I love you"...he cried during the I love you, and there was about a 10 second pause before he said it...I cried...oh, and he does have the sniffles, he sounds very sick, hopefully if he gets worse he'll go and get meds...1 day on them and he's usually much better! Hope you all get letters and calls !!

OMG Curtis just called me he is in ship 09 div 009 we talked for 30 mins... he said that the guy on the top bunk of him is from texas and his name is matt... He told me so much stuff but right now my mind is going crazy! ill post everything else he said in a little while
