Since I just joined recently, I didn't know about the others being sent home. Have they all been health issues, or have they sent any home for other reasons? Sure helps to know I am not the only worry wart in the world reading all your messages. I guess this is why this board is for moms. The dads would be on here telling us we are over reacting.

sandy: Calls can come on any day, not just Sundays. No set day or time.

Yeah Me!!! I finally got a letter a letter today. my son has been gone since 10-4 and this has been the longest 18 days ever... it was very awesome though that today happened to be his dads birthday and he wrote a special note to everyone in our house. it was super sweet. he said he was nominated Education Petty Officer. what is this? i really hope to get a phone call soon and hear his voice now. hopefully those of you that haven't gotten a letter yet will get yours tomorrow. it really helps to see their handwriting....

I am beginning to feel like a 2 year old: "I want a phone call I want a letter" Is that too much to ask for. LOL!!! Do any of you think they will get to call this Sunday if they have been there two weeks? Are calls only on Sundays?

Sunny I am so sorry for you and Meg! Breaks my heart that any of them would be sent home. :-(

I hope you moms that haven't gotten a letter yet get one tomorrow.

Sunny, sorry to hear about the daughter.....but glad she's ok....let us know how she's doing!!

I hate that many people haven't gotten letters yet...I hope you get one very soon!! It's such a relief to get that letter, so I'm praying tomorrow is everyones luck day!!

Sunny sorry to hear about Meghan! Glad she is okay even if she is a little anemic. She will probably make a wonderful nurse.

I worry my son won't make it. He was somewhat lazy in high school (okay very lazy) and his ASVAB score was Average. Anyway he actually was cut out for the miltary life and does extremely well with structure and directions. So I hope he continues to do his best.

Curtis is going to be a Master At Arms and his A school is in San Antonio Texas. He had said in his letter to me that he hadn't received any letters yet but they told him he would start getting mail on Monday 10/18/2010 which means he has already started getting it now YAY! I'm so sorry for the ones who haven't received mail yet =[ I'm sure you will get a letter this coming week sometime... i will pray for each and every1 of you guys!
