Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

sighhhh.... i think all of you guys are lucky... i'm not! we thought my sailor is grad and go so we decided that i will just stay at home and wait till our wedding... my sailor is alone whole liberty period... he doesn't have anybody there with him... he is one of those sailor who celebrated alone...

It's not just you. Leaving here seems harder than when my boyfriend first left for bootcamp. But I have to say I am very proud!

PIR was amazing! So sorry I didn't get to meet any of you; by sheer chance we met up with my son's best friend's family - they happened to sit beside us and then realized who we were! We had a great time at PIR and had lunch with them, sharing time with our boys. What great memories were made that day...

Just wanted to add a quick note - We just arrived home from PIR and it was it was completely amazing doesn't begin to describe how I felt. Seeing my son again just melted my heart, and I'm so very proud of him and this huge accomplishment he has done. Of course, I was proud of him before he ever joined USN, but he's a man now!! And he a very good man!

Wow, what an awesome amazing day! Our Sailors looked terrfic at PIR. I am so proud of them all. I am so thankful N4M. We have all experienced a great event today that has forever changed all of us. Congratulations to us all!

CONGRATULATIONS to all of our Sailors who grad.today.. I am so happy we get to spend all weekend with our son before he has to go back on Sunday.
